Gen X Uncomplicated: A Podcast About Simplicity & Midlife
Good enough is good.
Coming August 3, 2026
About
Welcome to Gen X Uncomplicated. One short story from the analog past, one timeless truth from ancient philosophy, and a quick reality check for the modern world. Let's keep it simple.
It is about surviving adulthood with moderate dignity, decent snacks, and fewer unnecessary complications.
Think of it like a cruise ship’s Lido Deck: life slows down, no one fusses too much, and expectations drift off somewhere over the horizon.
Just a quieter corner of the internet where you can pause and laugh at the weirdness of modern life.
Meet the Host — Warren
I spent 27 years as a college instructor. How'd that happen? Redundant, yes, that's the kind of plot twist we learn to navigate while adulting.
I’ve spent a lot of time watching advice cycles come and go, borrowing the useful bits, and discarding anything that smells too much like hustle culture.
This is for adults running in safe mode, slightly overcooked, and looking for a life that feels more Lido Deck than panic deck.
A Solid C+ Podcast (C- on Fridays)
Gen X Uncomplicated is a solo podcast about life: small victories, “wait, what just happened?” moments, and the occasional existential spiral.
No perfection. No pretense. Just showing up and figuring it out...most days.
Because let's face it: most of today's problems are just old human problems wearing modern clothes. People have been wrestling with stress, uncertainty, purpose, and how to live a decent life for thousands of years. If someone found a useful answer along the way, it's worth paying attention.
